Since 2006 BC Bendoni Communication has cooperated with RAI and RAI Trade, to create "digital archives" for football clubs. The project's aim is to modify some commercial aspects and create an asset in professional football through the creation of real "image archives".
The objectives of the project are to guarantee football clubs:
- Protection of film rights for all their historical images (matches, media services etc.), referring to the past, present and future.
- The recovery and related ownership of almost all filmed materials relating to their own history, with a significant benefit in terms of being an asset for the club.
- The immediate usability of their own audiovisual material for the purposes of its commercial exploitation.
Services
BC Bendoni Communication provides its own consulting services for the creation and management of “image archives”. BC is able to assist customers both in the delicate phase of identifying and selecting the audiovisual material available and in the design and creation of the archive and its operational and commercial management.
In general the archive process is as follows:
- Data collection:
- identify the team's audiovisual material;
- selection of the data relating to the film documents;
- analysis and control of data;
- division of the documents by category and period.
- Creation of archive through the digitalisation of the audiovisual material.
- Support both in indexing film and in the subsequent editorial phase.
